Our Philosophy

 

I think it’d be great if we all started practicing yoga at home more.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE studio yoga. I love it so much I opened my own yoga studio. I love it so much I’d marry it. BUT…I also really love practicing at home. And it’s become clear to me that there’s some confusion surrounding what a home yoga practice “should” look like. I have good news for you.

At home, there are no rules!

At home, you can wear your comfy sweatpants. At home, no one is sweating and breathing weird next to you. At home, you can practice for 90 minutes, or 3 minutes. And it all counts! You can really, truly create your OWN ritual. One that’s meaningful and effective and makes you feel SO GOOD physically, and mentally. I’d love to help you with this.

Below, you’ll see two programs we created to help you practice better, at home:

 

One for you

The beginner (or the lifelong beginner). Have you tried yoga, or thought about trying yoga, or had a bad experience in a yoga studio and never went back? The new year is coming - let’s use the spirit of the season to get us going, together, on January 1st.

One for you

The yogi. Like me, you’ve fallen in love with yoga. Where do you put that love? Into a yoga teacher training? Maybe. If you’ve been thinking about enrolling in a 200hr YTT, but you know you don’t want to teach yoga. The Going Deeper Program is for YOU!

2019 Kickstart Program

New to yoga? Starting up again after a little hiatus? Let’s make it happen together this year.

This is a 2 week introduction to practicing yoga at home. All you need is yourself. We’ll provide the instruction, the inspiration, and the community of support as we form a beautiful ritual that will serve you well all year long.

Hi, I’m Amy. I’ve been practicing yoga for 13 years and teaching for 7. I completed my training through YogaWorks, which provides an extremely safe and reasonable framework for practicing and teaching yoga. I teach Vinyasa yoga, a type of yoga that will take you through a series of poses in rhythm with your breathing, and leave you feeling INCREDIBLE. Want to learn more about me?
